Waiting Room
The opening of Pontfadog Waiting Room the morning of the Saturday before Christmas is a now firmly-based event in the Glyn Valley Tramway calendar.

The idea is to provide intending ‘bus passengers’ somewhere warm and comfortable to wait for services 60, 64 and 65 as well as seasonal refreshments, if they wish.

This year, the ‘Saturday before Christmas’ falls on Christmas Eve. As this is such a busy day in most people’s lives (and to help with the volunteer staffing situation) we have elected to open on Saturday, 17 December instead.

The Valley’s ’bus operators have been requested to make the extra stop at the waiting room—this will be open from 9.30 am ’til 1.30 pm . Do pop in on the day to say, ‘Hello’ or, if you can’t, why not look us up at glynvalleytramway.co.uk!
